The moment you walk through the gates of the Commenda, you immediately understand that only a few
places in Sicily are as suitable for celebrating the kind of wedding Marquis and Jessie had dreamt of
experiencing.
From England to Sicily, they were driven by their desire to create an event that could become a small and relaxing holiday in this beautiful land for them and those that accompanied them.
And between relaxing hours spent by the pool and aperitifs at sunset, the wedding day has arrived.
It’s time for Marquis to rehearse his speech one last time while Jessie gets ready for the wedding and enjoys toasts to the celebration with her friends. Everything’s ready for the beautiful ceremony in the Commenda’s garden, amongst laughter and emotion their union is sealed. The Commenda and our newlyweds give us the opportunity of taking a rather creative group photo from above.
It’s time for some sunset shots in the enchanting countryside that surrounds the hamlet and then dinner in the magical olive trees’ avenues as the sun retreats, making way for the illuminations. The speeches provide excitement and entertainment. And of course, you can't miss the traditional cutting of the cake, which, in homage to the land that hosts the beautiful celebration, is made up of delicious cannoli!
